The first thing should be to implement proportional representation.

That will prevent this from ever happening again. Parties should only get the amount of seats equal to the percentage of the vote.

Keep the threshold to amend the Constitution at 2/3 and you will never have another dictator able to rig the system.

Hungarians on the streets are chanting “Russia, go home!”

Damn right! Long live a free Hungary, long live a united Europe!

I wonder how it will affect the russian war of agression with no orban to leak all the information live to putin or to block aid to Ukraine. Will fico and babis be enough to halt EU aid to Ukraine?

Was watching einsturzende neubauten play and the main guy was talking about how the song was about the remnants of fascism and then someone near me gasped and said orban lost I’ve never seen a mix of so many nationalities be that happy by the same political news at once truly marvelous

I suspect there will be a great party in Hungary tonight! I wish I lived close by, so I could join the celebrations!

The best news this year together with the Celine Dion’s Paris concert residency announcement.

  7. The problem facing Tisza now is to undo Orbán’s antidemocratic rule without appearing undemocratic themselves. The same is going to apply to the next Democratic administration in the US. You have to roll back loads of law and regulation which opens you to accusations by the rightwing press.
