Takes forever to take this one single decision. Incredible. Incredible too that school boards didn’t take this decision independently when evidence of smartphone disturbing education is present for so many years now.
You want to turn young people against the EU? This is how you turn them against the EU.
Instead, integrate technology into education. Also, how does the principle of subsidiarity not apply here? I am super pro EU, but this seems like an issue, where even if the EU has competence, they should refrain from legislating
We couldn’t use our mobile phones in the classroom 20 years ago. Why did this change?

Well, im not against banning phones in schools. But i believe this is not for EU to decide, but the individual countries to do
They need to ban foreign social media.
