      Great piece OP. I recognised the exact spot from when I was a nipper and brought back a few memories, lovely work ^^.

      Let me first say that I know nothing about art. But this is beautiful. It looks like a painting you could take in every day and find a new detail to get lost in. I love it.

      I went on holiday there in the 70s with a group of other kids. It wasn’t the scouts but something similar. The camp site we stayed in used to be an army base I think, we slept in some barracks.

      I remember we went crab fishing off a jetty, possibly the one in the sea just beyond the houses. Caught so many of them. Put them back afterwards, of course.
