I remember a lot of those who made the military service in the 70s were infected due to using the same needles for dozen of people during vaccine procedure.

The father of a friend of mine got it like that, and many of his “colleagues” too. He told us that they where in line for the tetanus shot and the doctor was using the same needles and siringe over and over

I know some people who contracted hepatitis C from the dentist, due to instruments that weren’t properly sterilized.

Hepatitis C is curable. I had it and was cured with the Harvani therapy. I am Canadian but live in Italy. I took a therapy in Italy that didn’t work and I had to go back to Canada to get the Harvani therapy. It is needlessly expensive due to Big Pharma but I finally got it through Canadian health insurance.

I was born in 1967… I remember that as a child it was common practice, to give injections, to call the neighbor who showed up with the kit: iron container, glass syringe… disposable ones were not used.

blood transfusions in the 80s and before. My mum for instance was infected with it as a toddler due to wound that required blood transfusion.Needless to say she later was infected.Fortunately nowadays cure exists, and many people as my mum monthly receive money as the mistake was recognised by the state
