I just know the people commenting “good” will come over here. I wish you all that support all these authoritarian, Orwellian and all other bad epithets digital laws a great data breach where all your government info and location should be posted online for laughs just like the Tea app incident and all the stalking cases happening around the world because the stalker got a hold of the victim’s location. You have nothing to hide, so you shouldn’t be mad at my comment.

I am for a social media ban for minors. The problem is, there is no realistic way of enforcing that except age verification wich I absolutely find not OK.

The Danish government’s obsession with Internet surveillance is something a psychologist should look at. This can’t be healthy

And how do they plan to define social media?

Wtf this bitch talking about:
1. They do not define harmful content meaning that they can, at any time decide what that is…
2. Not isolate them digitally.. These are the same fuckers that want to ban all – 16 year Olds from any online chat including games.
3. All research done on these subjects have shown multiple times that education is key.
I was taught at a young age not to post anything on the internet that contains info about me or my family and guess what I did..I did not post anything.

Social media is toxic af for kids, so in general I am in support of age restrictions, but the problem is how do you enforce it without massive invasions of privacy? Or without a dozen loopholes that weak-willed parents will give their kids to stop the temper tantrums?

One day we will look back at this with the same lens as do smoking and smoking companies.
The red flags for social media companies are all there
1. companies who accept no responsibility to the macro or micro harm they have helped create
2. products that are vastly unhealthy for young minds. The smartest people in these companies are dedicated to figuring out ways to steal your attention, how doesn’t matter once they it.
3. Your children aren’t done cooking yet, they literally do not have the capacity to fight against every primordial brain triggering mechanism used to get them as addicted as possible.
Since their creation I cant think of many positives they have actually brought to the world.

There will never not ever be ID verification, chat control, or internet censorship in a free world 🙂
Fight against it. Physically, if need be. No government tells me what content I can use.
