I feel like repairing that kind of damage would cost more than buying a new one. But for sustainability I approve your efforts.

You’re not gonna be able to repair that, it will remain a weak spot even if you somehow manage. That suitcase is gone, get a new one.

There is a luggage repair place at the bus station in Helsinki
But I would take this opportunity to just buy a good suitcase

Only way to repair this would be to repair it so it has no wheel anymore. That could be made sturdy with some thicker glass fiber and epoxy combination.

Epoxy, drill, pop rivits and some plastic.

I’m by no means a professional, but damage doesn’t look repairable. I’d look for new luggage instead if I were you.
There are multiple luggage stores in central Helsinki and most larger malls have them too.

Just epoxy it on if it doesnt need to be pretty.

If you have luxury house insurance or travel insurance, just claim from them to buy a new one during Black Friday. Sometimes, repairing these kinds of things in Finland costs almost the same as buying a new one.

Scissors, beer can (empty) and duct tape

Buy a new suitcase. Repairs are not going to hold and you will be risking your luggage.

You can fiber glass it. But it’ll cost more than a new one.

If it’s Samsonite, contact them directly for inquiry. If not, it’s probably not worth repairing either way.
