Zelensky as politely put in diplomatic language: fuck you with your plan.

Zelensky clearly is a Russian asset, no doubt about it.

– Halving the size of the Ukrainian army ;
– Forbiding long-range weapons ;
– Giving Russia full control of Luhansk et Donetsk, including those are not even occupied.

This plan is obviously going nowhere. All I read is polite language for “we disagree and are not going to sign this”.
The war might end soon!
Finally. We should all rejoice!
No more dying, no more killing, no more fear of total escalation.
Let’s just hope they’ll agree to some adequate compromises.
It would actually be shocking if Putin were to accept this plan as the Russian army has the upper hand and is advancing at an accelerated pace.
It would be a good deal for Ukraine to be turned into an Israeli like state… many Ukrainians and Europeans would welcome this
less than meets the eye. Of course, Z won’t tell Trump to F off. But he didn’t make any concessions.
For me the biggest part has to be real security guarantees. Our European countries willing to provide that?
If that happens Ukraine can lower military strength if they know they are actually protected.
That’s not even about Zelensky as some may think. Simply if government signs such agreement, there almost immediately going to be different government with previous behind the bar for treason. So that ‘peace plan’ is dead on arrival.
