As a Brummie, it annoys me to no end watching the council and the WMCA (what a name) dither and react, while Manchester just gets on with it
It’s kind of crazy to see the skyline change so frequently. Very nice to have so much development though, other cities really should have the same approach

I lived in Manchester (fallow field) for a year after uni in 2000.
Visited again with my wife about 15 years later, arriving at Piccadilly train station, and quite honestly got lost trying to find Victoria.
Is the growth good for the population or is it just pushing them out for the rich?
I hope they strike the right balance
