      in the motor trade the importer will auto issue shit all the time that we have no interest in retailing. maybe centra is similar

      The auld ps5 is a lot easier to get this compared to the madness of previous years. And switch 2 is selling great for year 1 but just as easy to go get it seems. People didn’t get that Don’t and Nintendo were different creatures when it comes to supply.

      Supervalu have PS5s and Switch 2s today as part of their Black Friday thing. Big reductions, cheaper than Smyths. Centra are part of the Musgrave group so they buy stuff from the same place.

      They sell them at a lower price than most other retailers. I picked up a PS5 for under 400 in SuperValu last year.

      Supervalu were selling them earlier in the year, and last year too – I think the prices looked really competitive too

      Worked in Centra about 10 years ago and for some reason the owner took a notion that we would start selling consoles and video games in the run up to Christmas. We ended up with 20 copies of that years Madden game that we couldn’t sell 6 months later

      Wasn’t it last year that Tesco sold a small number of PS5s at a big discount and all the staff snagged them before the general public got a look in.
