Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s preparations for a financial-market meltdown are baffling investors who see little sign of a looming collapse in one of the world’s best-performing emerging markets.
Orban has spoken repeatedly about the need for a “US financial shield” to protect Hungary — whose sovereign debt is backed by investment-grade ratings — in case of a speculative attack. He even drew parallels with Argentina, which has secured a lifeline from US President Donald Trump.
While the details of Hungary’s plans remain murky, the comments have left investors puzzled about what’s in store for markets as the five-term premier trails in opinion polls before April’s elections. Malin Rosengren, a London-based fund manager at RBC BlueBay, said there’s no need for any kind of immediate rescue package for the $220 billion economy.

Orban is a liar who is planning to manufacture an emergency to avoid elections he is predicted to lose.
The same is true for Trump.
Looking at how idiotic the whole AI shit is I wouldn’t be surprise if it was somehow fueled by Russia in some way or another and now they are going to burst the bubble burning trillions of dollars to damage the west.
It’s a but of a conspirancy but seriusly the whole AI thing nvidia-oracle-microsoft-intel is so stupid I can’t accept is just greed.
As he looses the next election he’ll start to cry wolf and ask Putin’s for assistance

Orban has been cooking the books for who knows how long. Hungary is going to enter a massive financial crisis once Orban finally runs out of ways to hide it, or gets ousted by someone else who will not cook the books.
