      He was an absolutely iconic voice on Morning Ireland all those years ago.

      As someone who knew him I’m slightly annoyed that RTE, his own station got his age wrong. They have the correct DOB and wrong age! He was 81. Tiny little pedantic fact that would have absolutely annoyed David
