What a horribly sad story pretty much the entire way around. The thing the scissors is one of the saddest things I’ve heard in a while

Shouldn’t have been out in the first place the scumbag! Rip to the lady who unfairly lost her life 😔

Murder aside, 4 months for indecently assaulting a 14 year old girl? The fuck?

Was he only going to get 4 months for that, and why was he still out and about if he pleaded guilty? They should have locked him up there and then. This woman would probably still be alive if they did…

So he’ll be 95 when he’s eligible for parole. Which seems unlikely to happen, tbh, because life expectancy in prisons is somewhat lower than in general.

I’m curious why he felt it was her fault..

Holding on to it for 40 years? To savagely murder her on the sons grave is beyond horrific.

“Suter then called 999 from the graveside to confess, blaming Ms Blackwood for their son’s suicide and saying his life had been ruined by her.

Members of the public saw the victim on the ground and asked if they could help, the court heard.

Mr Suter replied: “No, she’s dead – I killed her. I called the police. It’s been 40 years. I couldn’t take it any more.”

If that’s his response to his son’s suicide, maybe he should look deeper within himself to see how his actions may have contributed to his son’s death.
