This plan is being drafted by Steve Witkoff who has been just parroting Kremlin’s talking points to the T with their outrageous demands. He’s all about appeasing Russia and demanding nothing from them, fuck him.
It’s on Ukraine to decide but I’d spit on this insulting excuse of a peace plan which it can’t even be called, it’s a capitulation plan.

There is no reason to speculate on it until we know what the plan is specifically. For now there are only leaks. I’ve seen one list of those and it was just stupid.
Honestly though even after we see the real list, what’s the point? US are either ready to leave or they are not. If they are, EU can either compensate for them leaving or they can not. If EU can, Ukraine can either have the army left to fight or not.
Ukrainian leadership has way better info on their own capabilities than we in our propaganda bubbles do. If they decide that continuing the war is not feasible and they will just lose more than what they lose signing it- they should sign it. If they decide that there is a good chance that they can make the situation better – they should not. Of what value is someone’s personal opinion on it?

There is no point in anybody in Europe agreeing to it. It is not merely a capitulation to Russia designed to further US interests, but a direct threat to future European security. It is basically making a mockery of NATO.

The US threatened that they won’t give Ukraine any more intel. I started thinking that since Trump is basically under Putin’s thumb, has the intel been that high quality so far?

I believe there’s way more to it than the plan itself. My guess is that USA is desperate to prevent escalation that will come if a peace deal is not struck asap and if Putin is trustworthy at all.
This is a last effort to deescalate, but I don’t believe a peace deal will last long anyway.
It will be a full on world war 3 within a few years. Why? because of the power balance and some leaders are very hungry to become global superpowers.
