They are scum. The absolute pits.

I rang up recently to cancel in a month’s time let’s say it was the 2nd and my contract wasn’t up until let’s say the 3rd the following month or something like that. They wanted me to ring back two days later instead or else pay early termination fees.

I told them I wouldn’t be doing either of those things. I told them I would just stop my direct debit instead and suddenly they were able to do what I wanted.

An absolute scumbag company. Never again.

Hope they do something similar for EIR, they charged me for a whole year of service without ever connecting me and refused to give me a refund like ….

Super shady wording. *”A small number of customers”* 25 customers or 25,000 customers?

The problem i have here with companys doing this is that they would be profiting by just issuing refunds. 25,000 customers x €50 would be €1,250,000 overcharged. Maybe €20,000+ profit made just off on interest.

There should be a law that you have to pay the customer back 3x of what was taken in error instead of just woopsie here is your money back thanks for the all the free money in interest.

Now now all your stolen money was well invested in their anti dodgy stick crusade with FACT.

Sky have been sending payment demand emails to the previous occupier of my house for three years. The amount keeps increasing despite the fact that the service hasn’t been active for three years. I called them to stop sending but they refuse, saying that the account holder has to cancel the contract. Funnily enough, I was with Sky my first year in the house so they were charging for two contracts in the same house.
