I worked as a stagehand during that time, unlike (some, not all) other bands who would get drunk even before venturing on stage, Zack would be doing warming up exercises backstage, like an hour before going on stage. Although he acknowledge our presence, I didn’t talk to him. There’s an unwritten rule we left them their space and only interacted if they themselves engaged into interaction. Back in the day it all seemed normal to work for all these amazing bands, it was only years later I realized these were some of the most epic times in (Metal/Rock) music history, lol,
