Can’t stand Cooper as an interviewer or radio personality but this is a bit thin, surely

Not a bit surprised other outlets are going after him, after the holier than thou act him and Noel Kelly tried spin off the back the Yates/Gavin debacle.
Matt Cooper knows as well as anyone that the Irish media, PR and political sectors are interwoven and conflicts of interest occur everywhere everyday because of it.
A casing point is Anton Savage, one of the most prominent presenters in the country, also being a Director at one of the most prominent PR firms The Communications Clinic.
It’s nowhere near as bad as sucking at the DoB tit for years and not having Irish Times journalists on as his boss had a row with them. The man has no journalistic credibility.
I remember Pat Kenny having consultants on from the Beacon Hospital upselling new procedures that they could now do in the hospital, at the time DoB owned both Newstalk and the Beacon.
