“Ceding land to another country is against the Constitution of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Constitution explicitly states that the territory of Ukraine is indivisible and inviolable.

Key constitutional provisions regarding the territory:

Article 2 of the Constitution declares that the territory of Ukraine within its present border is indivisible and inviolable.

Article 73 states that issues of altering the territory of Ukraine are resolved exclusively by an All-Ukrainian referendum.

Article 133 lists all regions of the country, including those in the east and south currently occupied by Russia, as integral parts of Ukraine.”

I just read that territorial concessions have been removed from the current draft of the plan. Trump and Zelenskyy will talk about this when they meet.

Trump: “Ukraine doesn’t agree to Russias territorial demands? No problem. Bring him to me. I am good at convincing Zelenskyy.”

      Unbelievable 😂

I’m a little concerned that Europe might not be pushing hard enough for this goal. If they wind up with an open-ended ceasefire agreement where no one recognizes Moscow’s land claims but no one will remove them either, then it’s not much better than Donnie’s Borscht Accords.
