Will they be upgraded based on the results of their actions in Ukraine?

    2. This is encouraging news, good for Germany, but does 75 just seem like, an incredibly small amount given the number of tanks deployed and lost in Ukraine?

Oryx, one of the most conservative estimators of Russia’s losses, estimates Russia has lost over 4,000 tanks in a couple years in Ukraine. The UK General staff estimates over 11,000 Russian tanks lost in Ukraine.

75 tanks would be about two weeks worth at such a level of attrition.

More Leos, and apparently, [thousands of Boxers in all variants](https://www.hartpunkt.de/arminius-mehr-boxer-fuer-bundeswehr/) (artillery (RCH155), anti-aircraft (Skyranger), troop transporters etc.). Rheinmetall alone aims to produce more than [500 Boxers in Kassel per year](https://www.hartpunkt.de/rheinmetall-will-in-kassel-mehr-als-500-boxer-pro-jahr-fertigen/).

The Boxer will be key in the new “Mittlere Kräfte” battalions aiming for rapid deployment (to the East…) and mobility first and foremost. Heavily armed and potent, but not heavily armoured like the “Schwere Kräfte” that includes Leos and Pumas whose deployment takes more time.

The idea is for the “Mittlere Kräfte” to move first and quick, winning time for the heavy armour units to follow suit.
