      Illegal dumping is still a big problem across many parts of Europe. Forests, riverbanks, hiking trails… you’ve probably seen spots where people leave old furniture, construction waste, or bags of trash.

      I’ve been working on a small project called TrashSignal, where anyone can report a dumping site, and others can track if it’s pending, received, in progress, or resolved. It’s meant to be a simple crowdsourced map for cleaning up Europe, after launching local version in Lithuania now we’re going global starting across EU.

      If you spot dumping in your area, feel free to add it — or just tell me how bad this issue is where you live. I’d love to hear how different countries handle it and what local initiatives exist.
      I’m open to suggestions too; the project is still evolving
