No shit. Like many things, no punishment or enforcement so why would anyone stop.
We had the biggest fish kill in the states history this year in Cork due to deliberate pollution of a waterway and not one person will face any consequences as a result.
No enforcement for pollution and big kill offs while they have been super busy make sure you use the right type of hooks on your rod
