Penso che sia interessante perché o il governo deve ammettere di sostenere questo tipo di diplomazia oppure denunciarlo e potenzialmente annullare i progressi nella negazione. Bloccato tra l’incudine e il martello.

I don’t really see the issue. To me it would have been an issue if it included special treatment only for the company that were present in the office on that day.
But here it’s quite different, it benefited to every company exporting to US, so it seems more like a diplomatic gift rather than a corruption attempt.
They were well informed that Trump is not insensitive to gifts, and took advantage of it.
Interesting for sure.
May I speculate? I think the Justice Department won’t press charges, but I wonder how they’ll justify it.

Just delay delay delay until it’s no longer relevant?
Press very weak charges or ridiculous, unprovable ones so it gets thrown out in court?
Some weird argument why bribing the US president is actually okay? Without insulting the Americans by bunching them up with a couple of African despots?
