As a non-Londoner, I actually quite hope it’s true.
The rest of the country gets absolutely shafted for London.
Edit, for the folk that don’t understand why, you all need to look up the governments “value for money” calculations and how they will always favour investment in London over the rest of the country and why that shafts the rest of us.
I think Londoners have a right to be hacked off with this government. We have 50% of London boroughs predicted to be “bankrupt” by 2028 and what does Reeves do? Transfer a load of tax from London to Scotland because “Anas asked for it!”

They’re on the same side. It’s a made up story to make them both look good. Reeves can look tough and Khan can say he’s doing his best for London
