      Some comments:

      1. The report says the money were “all transferred back to China,” but I don’t believe all the money actually went back. There must have been people on the Ukrainian side, and likely also in Europe or the US, who took cuts or kickbacks along the way.
      2. Ukraine has repeatedly claimed that its drones are domestically produced, so this case also raises questions about that narrative.
      3. It’s also unclear whether shutting down dealings with this company is necessarily good for Ukraine. If they are forced to purchase drones from Europe or the US, those drones will almost certainly be more expensive, and Western production capacity may not even be able to meet Ukraine’s demand.

      Welcome to the world of military contracts. They need to charge that much to have enough profit to pay the bribes to get the contract in the first place. Is not Ukraine it works the same everywhere else in the world
