This is comedy gold.
Two random romanian men almost got rid of 49 illegal immigrants in one single trip, now we are stuck with 49 illegal immigrants and two people inprisoned.
If only the government had this efficiency..

Incredibly risky to try and get people across the channel in lorries nowadays. Hence the small boats. I’m amazed that professional criminals still try it.
I hope this is obvious to people. Of course we arrest them. If we let them go and other countries knew we knew they were criminals and let them go to benefit ourselves, how likely would they be to also cooperate when it is the other direction.
So at first glance it sounds silly, but it really is not.
I mean it’s just basic economics, you don’t want to send an empty boat back.
