I wonder how much of this is going on that we haven’t found yet. There seems to be a story like this every year or two.
This is the kind of story that’s been on and off headlines for 40 years, Arabs with staff, Chinese, now Romanians and prob others too. They stick with their own for safety and are used and abused. Good to hear that the police, health service and prob immigration treated them well.
You’d think the punishment for slavery would be much harsher than 8 years.
