Aren’t most Irish players English? Probably suits them.

Happens a lot, famously at the 1998 Belgian Grand Prix, they played the British anthem when Jordan an Irish team, registered in Ireland won coming in 1st and 2nd. They didn’t have the Irish anthem lined up to be played.

I’m sure my friends in Southern Ireland are having a chuckle about it

Not sure if that was intentional insult or not

I think this clearly shows that Sweden needs to be a part of the Danish kingdom once again

As a Bulgarian and knowing firsthand how incompetent the cretins running our football are, I am absolutely convinced that they searched the N.Ireland anthem out of sheer lack of knowldedge and education.

      Don’t take it personally.
