Adriana Unolt was hospitalized after a Russian missile hit her home in Ternopil on November 19. Her mother, Olena, was killed in the strike. After nine days in intensive care, the girl passed away. Her older sister, Eva, remains in the hospital:
Eva Unolt has both legs broken and a shattered arm, according to the doctors, and her spleen was completely removed.
We are all guilty of not pressuring NATO enough to close the skies and go boots on the ground in Feb 22. I can’t stop thinking this. Humanity does not deserve a future if we do not defend Ukraine with whatever it takes.
This is the stuff that makes me almost catatonic. I have a son this exact age. I am so sad for this girl and her family.
To know that this child lived war for a substantial portion of her life also infuriates me. None of this, up to and including Fake-USSR Self-Declared President For Life Putin (whom I first recall having to report on in social studies as a SEVENTH GRADER MYSELF the year he took power) should ever have been allowed to happen. The means to do so were there. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE COLLECTIVELY PLANNED FOR THIS KIND OF BULLSHIT SO THAT IT WOULD BE STOPPED.
NATO is a such a limp-wristed, pathetic excuse for a defense organization. Idly watching as the country it was built to stop from executing a land war in Europe executes a land war in Europe. Disgusting.
