      Not really surprising. Isn’t most of switzerland’s population rich in the first place?

      77,78% of people believe that they will make over 50 Million Chf within their lifetime, 0,5% already have that amount of money and the remaining 21.72% understand the reality.

      The proposal ease horse shit. Tax for climate change that’s not even a metric to gauge if Switzerland would be doing it well. I’m sure if it was to keep homeless off the streets or better provide lasting and future infrastructure if would have gained far my approval. Horseshit bill with a super horseshit idea.

      I would also vote against. I don’t see any reason why should the state get any right to any percentage of someone’s inheritance or gift regardless of the money amount.

      Switzerland should not even exist as an independent state considering how criminal its banks are, and its involvement in nazi gold during ww2. It has no natural resources, no real industry. It exists to allow tax evasion.

      Let me guess, they’re afraid rich people would leave? I’m sure there wasn’t a pressure campaign from the media that is owned by billionaires to convince people that the only reason they stay in Switzerland is low taxes.

      Tax Havens should be banned from Europe. Let the rich felons move to a less safe country or a small island.

      The swiss are smart and demand their governments do more with the money they already collect instead of supporting another cash grab.

      Plus, they already have wealth taxes

      All those who support “No” because it gives them more stability to the system that brings them prosperity, I suppose they won’t be angry when other countries sell weapons to Israel, negotiate with China or obtain russian gas…
