I suggest u put it in an envelope when dropping it off. Then they have it if they need it. If they don’t, they can just throw it away, but with German bureaucracy is is better to be Safe than sorry
Also, don’t use original documents unless they are specifically asked for an only if they are asked for by the state itself. You should never hand E.G.your landlord your original birth certificate whatsoever.
>If I use original documents will I receive them back after for my residence permit.
It explicitly asks for copies so send them copies.
They want a copy of each document. They want the rental contract to verify that your apartment is big enough.
You can mail the documents, drop them yourself in the mailbox, or scan and email them.
How they get the documents is irrelevant to the processing time. No matter how you send them, include some reference to you or your case number.
Just a general tip. If you’re asked for something, send that, don’t ask questions like you did here.
They want your current rental agreement,, it’s stated in plain ‘German. Why would you think they want something other than your current rental agreement?
DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS. YOU WILL NOT GET THEM BACK.
>I emailed to the email they mention but it said it will take up to 3 months. It also mention that I can go to Ludgeriplatz to drop off my document. Do I have to put it in an envelope or can I just bring documents?
The drop off mentioned is a letter box. You won’t be able to hand your documents to a person, so you should put them in a closed envelope. But you will not speed up the process by handing in your documents multiple times. All of the paths of submitting your documents are equal.
>Does that mean I have to show my rental agreement or is registration of address enough and bank statement to show proof of amount is that gonna be monthly bank statement or that specific date I paided for the accommodation fee?
If they want your rental contract, I would give them the rental contract. They are not interested in your address, but the costs you have. Your bank statement is supposed to show how much you pay monthly in rent, not one-time payments.
>If I use original documents will I receive them back after for my residence permit.
They ask explicitly for copies, not original documents. It would be unwise to send them anything you want back. They don’t want to gurantee that you can get it back and/or they intend to keep those copies for their own documentation in your case file.
