Drones now stalk the front line which increases the danger for everyone. They’ve changed everything about war but this might be a change that you wouldn’t expect.

Infils and exfils are now much more dangerous. Soldiers risk getting hit by FPVs and due to that risk many have to infil or exfil on foot, sometimes 10 km or 20km or more. This is dangerous and challenging; they want to do it as little as possible. Sometimes due to drones, it’s impossible to exfil and they must stay longer than they anticipate.

It’s now not uncommon for soldiers to be on position for a month, maybe even longer. They generally live underground. This is why we are getting a lot of requests to address hygiene needs. They get resupplied via drone or ground drones.

Big things soldiers ask for include supplies to help them stay warm and clean clothing. They want extra socks and underwear to be able to change as well as shower packs (little packets with a tiny amount of water and a glove that lathers up). These are essential to prevent skin infections and stay healthy. They also want hand/foot warmers.

Right now we have requests from Azov International (defending Pokrovsk) and GUR Legion (not in Pokrovsk but in an area that is in my opinion in even bigger need given what they are telling me).

These items are not expensive and for about $4 we can get a soldier a pair of clean socks, a packet of hand warmers, and a shower pack.
