Isn’t that usually where you don’t encourage the construction of a mega consulate over or near sensitive areas?

Didn’t a suspected spy case against china literally just collapse because the government wouldn’t say china was a threat?

Didn’t the government literally just approve a new Chinese mega spy base / embassy?

      Make it make sense

I trust china more than the US.

China has goals and we jostle to find a way through, playing the great game.

America throws an effing fit if it doesn’t get it’s way

So why are we allowing them to buy everything in England?

I’d once again like to point out that the US has caused significantly more harm and started significantly more wars across the globe in its existence than China has in the same period, and despite us being their loyal lapdogs since WW2 we’ve still suffered more from helping the US than we have from any actions China has made against us. In terms of threats to our security, China ranks third at most.

So why did he let his government tank the Chinese spying case?

*Reminder:* UK (and US) were the ones pushing the Nayirah Testimony and Weapons of Mass Destruction lies in order to manufacture consent for Western military action in far away lands in matters that did not concern them.

I sometimes wonder if Chinese media concern themselves with almost daily Anglophobia.

      Probably not.

You can’t blame China for the flaws already in our system – if we allow them to exploit, that’s our fault. If AI-boosted chinese information warfare has the ability to destroy our democracy, I feel like we deserve it.
