I will never understand the people who believe there will be peace if Ukraine agrees to the Russian “peace plan”. Any deal that involves reducing the Ukrainian military and that does not contain security guarantees for Ukraine will just be a second Budapest memorandum. And even though Putin said all of Ukraine belongs to Russia there are still people who are blaming NATO for the war.
