This is the third fine for BetFred for exactly the same social responsibility and anti-money laundering failings.
Just a couple of weeks ago, they were threatening to close all of their shops if there was a tax increase. Theyd have been aware of this investigation when they made those threats.
Good stuff. Preying on addictions then trying to blackmail the Government about tax rises. Pair of clowns.
Greedy bastards. They’ve got a golden egg yet they still want to extract all they can from the weak and vulnerable. They’d still make a ton of money without them I’m sure.
