Can’t stay I’ve heard of him, but hope he does a great job as I have enjoyed In Our Time for many years.
A bit disappointing to see a state-educated son of working class parents replaced with someone privately educated and whose father has their own wikipedia page. I suppose that’s academia and the arts now.
