No need to be where you’re not only not wanted but blamed for your own issues

  2. toastedipod on

It’s entirely unsurprising given how well Poland is doing.

  3. No surprise, life in Poland got a lot better plus people feel not wanted by autochthons

  4. AlbatrossOk6223 on

Concerning. At this rate, Brits might soon run out of people to blame for their self-inflicted problems.

  5. MercatorLondon on

our plumber (born in Kent) is moving to Poland (his girlfriend is Polish)

  6. NatiFluffy on

Good, I never considered moving there cause I know that we are not wanted in the UK

  7. Own_Argument89 on

I feel that alot of Poles are going back to Poland at this point, specially with Poland, well growing.

  8. Heuchelei on

The quality of life in Poland is increasing whilst it’s decreasing here.

  9. dirtydenier on

A lot of my brit friends started to ask me about living in Poland and consider moving here. It was never the case 5+ years ago.

  10. gwentlarry on

Given the upsurge of RefUK support, why is anybody surprised that those who have free movement within the EU are making use of it and leaving the UK.

  11. namematno on

Well to be fair this is good for Poland because it seems that the biggest issue for Polish future seems that declining population, and the country adopted a policy which is against of mass immigration, and desires to bound threshold of individual immigration as possible as less therefore declining population was a huge problem, however, thats a golden chance for Poland’s future. It would be good if they succeed the re-migration of Polish population outside which is a lot. The other problem that country needs to solve is the exportation rates because %80 is exported to EU, however EU economically barely increasing compared to rest of the world, which will effect Poland when they reach the threshold maybe 1.5-2 billion GDP.

People from a country that was historically oppressed by the Soviets are leaving the UK? Wonder why that might be

  13. RiseUpAndGetOut on

The impact on the UK from this is huge, especially in the building industry. The government is going on about building 1.5m new homes, but a significant proportion of the skilled builders are (were) Polish. There aren’t enough skilled trades people left now to build anything.

  14. Bile_Mudante on

Poles are smart people, they know Britain is doomed and has no future.

  15. Head_Boysenberry_245 on

Afther the Brexit we can import cheap labour from the UK now.

  16. They went to UK, helped to build it up, making their life better as well, creating capital for themselves.

Then the UK, in its wisdom, said “gtfo we don’t want you here!”

So the question – what will the Poles do?
    A) Stay in UK which left EU, basically wiped out decades of gains, and are treating them as lower class;
    B) Take all the capital they accumulated back to Poland, which has a booming economy, and which has lower cost of living.

UK will be a textbook example how dumb population fell for populist stupidity and ruined their country. But don’t worry, US will be right there next to it.

  17. yadasellsavonmate on

Because Poland is keeping all the incompatible Muslim immigrants out and they feel safer going back to Poland.

    Good on them.

  18. dat_9600gt_user on

For the few who think this is somehow good news: when even the Poles flee your 1st world country, it means you’re not worth economically pursuing to them anymore.

    Ergo, you’re losing value.

  19. Aggressive_Emu_4593 on

I was told that mass migration only helps the economy. Poland doesn’t have mass migration so why are they doing better than UK?

  20. I’m Portuguese. Worked in the UK for 5 years. From 2015 to 2020. Heard so many racist takes against poles. Crazy really. But I guess on my back something would be said against Portuguese too. Left because of Brexit, do miss Leeds tho. 😅

  21. BLightyear67 on

Great news and we should all be very happy that the Polish economy has improved to the point where Polish folk are able to return there.

  22. BekindBebetter60 on

Now Britains are immigrating to Poland for the better quality of life but cannot stay long because they are not part of the EU. Well done England 🤣

  23. No-Possibility-289 on

*legal* migrants out, illegal immigrants in, great job UK 🙂

  24. Specialist_Bee_9726 on

They will be replaced with Pakistanis soon enough.

  25. hptelefonen5 on

Blocking EU immigration while leaving open for the PhD inflow from the 3rd world.

  26. Matchbreakers on

This is what they wanted with brexit no? They better not be complaining.

  27. Silly-Elderberry-411 on

Interesting how one major issue isn’t mentioned, actually make it two.

The sejm is currently trying to circumvent the far right president so white polish people would not be allowed to torture their dogs by keeping them chained.

The other issue is opposing sexual education so dumb teens will not know how to prevent STDs and ptegnancies, since abortion is illegal so is getting it abroad, this is very disadvantageous to women and a massive failure of Britain

  28. Historical-Cut-1396 on

The United Kingdom is no longer what it used to be, so you have to think very carefully about what you are going to vote for and stop fooling around.

  29. Aggravating-Energy65 on

Every time I see UK statistics they are comparing themselves to Poland. Why?

  30. EveryPen260 on

I mean UK voted for this.

Literally many British people wanna those EU people back to their homes.

    And they are going.

Funny how now they got people from Asia that need to reallocate family, increasing the overall numbers and adding huge pressure to UK services, but yeh, those poles are no longer stealing our jobs.

  31. Scary_Woodpecker_110 on

Tbh if I see wages in my sector in the UK it’s actually turning into a median and even low wage country.

  32. The state of the comments on here.

Apparently the whole UK economy has collapsed and the country has descended into anarchy and Brits are all super racist.

  33. Distinct_Ad8012 on

Reading most of these these comments, you’ve changed my mind. I used to think of the EU nations as still being our friends. Nothing but negative comments and gloating about the UK and the people here.

  34. Brexit: The undefined being negotiated by the unprepared in order to get the unspecified for the uninformed.

    It’s an eternal FAFO loop.

  35. Happinessisawarmbunn on

Please come back to the Motherland!
I did and it’s one of the best decisions ever.

  36. Composer-Creative on

Ill be among them soon. Im Scottish but my wife is Polish and we are leaving next year. I’ll actually miss the UK but as things stand we will have a higher standard of living in Poland than we currently have here.

  37. LittlePoint3436 on

Good. I’ve never met people more racist than people of this country.

  38. That seems… unsurprising? Of course without freedom of movement there’ll be way fewer Poles coming, since you now need to have a job offer for a skilled job where the employer is allowed and willing to “sponsor” you, not to mention go through the visa process. On the other hand, Poland has been doing better and better economically, and there are, obviously, no immigration barriers to going back if you have Polish citizenship.

  39. Dont_Knowtrain on

    Not surprised

Poland is improving, UK is declining

Brits will run out of people to blame their issues on
