If they just pay their tax then they dont have to worry about it.

This seems like a situation of their own making though? They could register a P.O. Box address if they plan on dodging tax? Or just get an accountant and be up to dat? 200k a year is enough to cover that cost surely

    They made their beds.

    They’re lying in them.

Still have to pay tax like the rest of us

  4. OhBrotherWhereAmI on

    Am I missing something?

Could they not simply… pay their tax like the rest of us?

  5. Ok_Engineer9157 on

There seems a logical solution to this if they don’t want to be named on any tax defaulter lists.

  6. DonToasty on

Yeah definitely there should be consequences for not paying taxes but it feels a bit fucked to allow the government to effectively doxx people no?

Taking ‘fuck around, find out’ to a whole new level

This a absolutely crazy no exemption should be given to these people. They got caught and this is part of the consequences of it.

Your bits being so gross that you can’t get enough people to pay a couple of bob to look at them is a defence for not paying your bills now aye. Sign us up

  10. All this is an advert……they’ve said how content creators fear for their safety, yadda yadda yadda.

Orrrrrr you could just get Brady & Associates to manage your taxes, like we do for so many others, and your address won’t be appearing in any default listing.

Absolutely no sympathy for them , they make the money and spend it without putting anything away for tax , lack of common sense and future planning

First bit of advice Mr. Brady should give his clients “pay your taxes”, if they heed his advice they don’t have to worry. Simple.

Being named on the defaulters list is one of the hazards of not paying your taxes. It’s a known deterrent.

  14. Mooderate on

If they talk to revenue and come to an arrangement, then their names aren’t published.

  15. Ok_Imagination_9334 on

I think under exceptional circumstances, they shouldn’t be named and addresses given out but they should be promptly paying said taxes owed. Can’t go without paying your taxes and expect nothing to happen either.

Tricky situation but comes down to “if you pay you wouldn’t have this situation to begin with”.

  16. CurrencyDesperate286 on

My heart bleeds for these people owing more than €50k in tax who could have resolved that liability.

  17. Super-Resource2155 on

Is there a way for them not to be on the defaulters list……….

  18. Prestigious-Side-286 on

Here’s an idea. Put some undies on for half an hour and do your tax return. Maybe there’s some niche market for people who want to watch you do your taxes in your undies.

This stuff is a bluff, you’re just gonna look her up and me tempted to subscribe.

This kinda bait runs rampant on twitter

  20. Excellent-Many4645 on

People who earn a fraction of that are forced to pay their taxes so anyone who is “self employed” earning 200K and not paying is a disgrace.

The revenue shouldn’t be using the personal data they store as a weapon.

If they have a Windows 11 install in their building they’ve no control over it either way.
