Ik word er iedere maand aan herinnerd dat ik 1000+ euro stort voor iemand anders zijn pensioen en dat die daar vrijwel niks voor hoeft te doen. En dan heb ik gewoon een prima inkomen.
Wonen is een recht en de parasieten van de samenleving die huisbazen zijn moeten worden gestopt.
Dus, bij gezinnen is het een yitgavenprobleem. Maar wanneer de begroting niet in orde is, moeten er meer belastingen komen.
1750 per maand…werkt ze misschien maar halftijds? Dat is lager dan het minimumloon.

1300 for housing + utilities, of which 615 rent. Telecom can be €3 (DIGI) and €30 (cheapest edpnet offer). That leaves €652/month for heating, electricity, water, and common costs for the building.
Seems like this could be optimised… every euro counts.
Lisa chooses to work part time and live alone. Most people would have a hard time making ends meet that way. Its her own choice not to work more and live without roommates.
The solution to affordable housing is not only to have more social housing, which is needed as Belgium has around 3 times less social housing than Austria, France, UK or The Netherlands.
A decent government would not allow big business (one of the most profitable investments) with such a relevant basic need as housing, by limiting prices, imposing taxes to landlords or forbidding banks to loan money for people to speculate.
Of course, none of these measures are expected from any right wing party, nor even from Vooruit…
