Yes, it’s nisse. It comes from Swedish nisse which in Swedish means a small tomte (a gnome/elf-like mythological chap). There’s also a well-known Christmas song in Finland called the [Nisse-polkka](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQoPoYyk_ag), i.e. the Nisse Polka. I think it’s a Dutch composition originally, but it’s become popular in Finland.
