      Criticizing Yaxely-Lennon only feeds the self-sustaining, grubby ecosystem of “unrelenting ugliness” that he and his pathetic legions cultivate.

      He is a garden variety football hooligan who has built a lucrative, spurious career on spitting bile and fostering discrimination. His specialty is “Public Disorder and Bigotry, with Honours”..

      As for his sudden, suspicious turn toward the Good Book, taking spiritual guidance from a known, violent felon and racist loudmouth?

      He’s southern Irish Catholic background – If he’s suddenly developed a crippling need for piety and forgiveness, there are stacks of chapels he can slink off to. Plenty of places for him to receive his sacraments and perhaps a much-needed, bracing slap from one of the resident clergy.

      The sheer, sticky hypocrisy of the above probably has most reaching for a puke bag. Ugh.

      To be honest. I think the posters on the CofE side are good for highlighting Christ at Christmas. 

      Equally I don’t necessarily have a problem with more people on whatever side of the political spectrum taking more of an interest in Christianity. 

      I just hope that they end up in church and consider the real meaning of Christmas and Jesus’ coming to save us from sin.

      I suspect some might be surprised at how diverse the average church in England is.

      Tommy Robinson wants to “put the Christ back into Christmas”?

      Did Christ preach violent crime, criminal fraud, stalking, passport fraud and contempt of court?

      I’m not a theologian, but I’d wager that Jesus Christ himself, who famously loves all of us, thinks Tommy Robinson is a malevolent arsehole.

      Tommy is less of a Christian than the majority of atheists. He s the embodiment of the phrase ‘Sitting in a church makes you as much of a Christian as sleeping in a garage makes you a car.’ He likes the imagery but I doubt he was sat in a service this morning or attends a bible study group. I know he does no charity work, like working in a soup kitchen or handing out blankets to homeless people. The CofE are right to put up these posters and organise a counter-protest, however I would also stop the flowery language and call a spade a spade.

      Race war didn’t kick off as expected so Tommy is going for a religious one instead.
