      Nigel Farage has been reported to police by a former member of his campaign team over claims of falsified election expenses.

      Mr Farage, the Reform UK leader, is accused of falsely reporting local campaign expenses in Clacton as national party spending in what would amount to a breach of electoral law.

      Richard Everett, a former Reform councillor and member of the campaign team that won Mr Farage his first parliamentary seat, has submitted documents to the Metropolitan Police that he claims show an overspend.

      Farage who takes donations in crypto? Farage who always says whatever is most pleasing to the Kremlin? Garage who got fined for cheating his expenses?

      And it turns out he might be guilty of electoral fraud?

      Well this simply must be a case of deep state smearing, right?

      The UK doesn’t seem to want to do what the USA did.

      I was hoping we weren’t as stupid, I wasn’t counting on it because we had a brexit, I guess there’s only so far we’ll go.

      Here’s the thing I’ve never got.

      Farage bailed on UKIP as soon as he got what he wanted.

      He left the mess for someone else, May and Boris, to fix. He then abandoned the party, and it went to crap very quickly thereafter.

      Why does anyone have any confidence that he would actually want to serve and make meaningful change? He absolutely would make change like UKIP did, but never for the publics benefit.

      If it was anyone else in charge of Reform id understand the appeal. But Farage? It doesnt make sense to me

      If Nigel Farage finally goes down for something and it’s “election fraud” I wonder if people will start looking at the other elections he’s been involved in…

      Would he not be implicating himself in the overspend? Was this not part of his duties to monitor if he was managing campaign finances, or would this be the role of the treasurer?

      If I understand the article correctly, he’s bascially whistleblowing to distance himself from blame for anything illegal actions that may have occurred.

      This would mean Farage won’t face any legal liability for the overspend.

      Crikey they’re really gunning for Farage lately, it’s almost as if everyone’s suddenly woken up, smelt the cocoa and realised that his popularity surge finally has to be taken seriously, interesting times….

      Well he’s been elected and he’s a fraud so, hopefully a fairly open and shut case.
