When the PIS government took over Telewizja Polska in 2015, they turned it from a respected semi public broadcaster into a vulgar apparatus of lies, revenge and attacks. Even during the communist times, TVP was more measured and balanced than during PIS times. Lithuanians, keep fighting, these traitors to peace and freedom must be stopped, before it’s too late.
Are journalists worried about the hypothetical possibility of pressure from the ruling party, or is there a genuine risk that after the amendments are passed, the ruling party will seek greater control over the media?
