And yet they claim we are the authoritarian ones and that we have no freedom.

  2. After small business, he’s going to kill the tourist industry…

Many European countries have experienced true autocracy at some point in the 20th century. Secret police, torture for political views, grip on freedom, show trials, violence, people disappeared for no reason etc. And we need only watch what Ukraine is doing to understand that freedom is worth more than life itself.

The new autocracy that is emerging in the US, and its alignment with Russia is going to be of a very new totalitarian kind. Palantir will scour your data to profile you, guess what you are thinking, binding you to a strata of society from which you will never escape. It is going to be totally unlivable, and Europe must look to its past, remember what it took to gain democracy and unity, and act to protect it.

Not on your life mate, you can keep the US if they are Soo scared about free speech, funny it’s in their constitution, and yet don’t like being criticized.

The US is facing an existential crisis of its own making, they unfortunately have become lost in what they are supposed to be.

Trump is acting like foreign travelers have no other options. This will be another nail in the coffin of the U.S. travel industry.

I doubt I’ll ever set foot in the USA ever again because of this melt.

This year I’ve mostly degoogled and I’m in the process of getting rid of an US services I consume.

I’m also going to start asking my Federal member about what Australia plans to do about reducing trade with the US.

I am absolutely disgusted at how backwards that country has gone.

“Muh First Amendement” except it only applies to them for saying racist, xenophobic or homophobic shit, and not to people criticising or insulting MAGA morons.

You already have to think super hard if you are not white as a sheet of paper to go there, cause you know… ICE needs to fill in quotas… and I’m not sure if a free trip to El Salvador is worth it…or to get shot by a cop.. or visit a hospital that can ruin you financially… heaven on Earth I tell you.

Canada has world class rocky mountain sky resorts and plenty of huge parks.

    France has disneyland/Paris

    Spain has beaches, tropical islands

Germany has beer festivals, gaming conventions

All of Europe has historical buildings and museums the USA can only dream of. London especially.

There isn’t really any need to visit the USA if they are going to be assholes about it on top of their tariffs and general disrespect.
