Prima di tutto, lasciatemi dire che il fatto che ciò sia accaduto a una ragazza così giovane è una tragedia assoluta. Non riesco a immaginare il dolore e l’impotenza che provano i suoi genitori e le persone a lei vicine.
Presumo che questa storia sia ampiamente riportata a causa delle circostanze tragiche e della presunta mancanza di comunicazione da parte dell’ospedale.
Alcune domande a chi è più esperto di me:

Apparentemente c’è confusione sulla questione se l’ospedale abbia fissato un termine per l’interruzione del trattamento. L’ospedale nega di aver mai fissato una scadenza per il suo trattamento. Qualcuno conosce il quadro giuridico attuale per questo? È possibile che l’ospedale abbia detto: mercoledì interrompiamo le cure?

Perché gli operatori sanitari ricevono minacce al riguardo? Ci sono state diverse segnalazioni di personale dell’UZA che ha ricevuto minacce riguardo a questo caso.
Chi è il ‘nemico’ in questo tragico caso? Perché non capisco che ce ne sarebbe uno? Cosa è andato storto oltre alle circostanze di questa tragica situazione?

10 minuten zonder zuurstof is is 100% fataal of vegetatieve toestand, pijnlijk maar de dokters hebben gelijk en moeten geen bedreigingen ontvangen. Het heeft geen zin om “te vechten” voor haar, dat zorgt alleen voor valse hoop en meer miserie.
I suppose the lesson learned here is that any indication of date should be put on paper because apparently misunderstanding occur and of course some money hungry lawyer will dive onto this.
Death threats on social media? Because people are complete idiots. Find the culprits and fine them thousands of euros, simple.

Horrendous news for the family, and it is indeed quite a shock mentally to see vital signs on a monitor but to be told that in essence that person no longer exists.
I don’t believe it’s the appropriate time to engage in an online discussion about this matter. These are incredibly difficult decisions that cannot be rationally comprehended by the family at this moment. Any online discussion at this juncture will only exacerbate the situation.
I find it utterly unbearable to comprehend the thoughts and emotions of the family in this distressing situation.
