They did this around my neighbourhood a couple of years ago and they devastated the natural habitat of the owls and other birds.
The reason they do this is purely financial – they are selling the wood for people’s home fires now winter is approaching. It is absolutely diabolical.
Cypriots will do ANYTHING to make a quick buck and to tell with the consequences on other people and the environment.

I understand that there is a logic in doing this but this picture makes me even more sad than watching Titanic movie
