Gosh darn this newfangled technology is just amazing isn’t it?
Was back in Dublin lately, and was kind of shocked that if I wanted to get on a bus, I either had to obtain a Leap card, or have exact change (rarely have change these days). Ended up spending far too much on Freenow, but that’s my own fault.
Cash is king, you wont stop me using me envelopes with cash. All ye want is to put chips in us so the FFFG lizard people can watch what we goon to.

As far as I know, Local Link didn’t take leap cards and were cash only up to now, so this is an improvement.
Source: me, having to spend another 10 mins standing in the rain a couple of weeks ago.
Not wanting to be a moaner, but any idea why the rollout is so difficult?
We have a local private bus operator that accepts cash, card and even Leap card payments for years. Is it the lack of internet coverage in some areas?
