Ternopil può finalmente seppellire Tetiana e sua figlia Sofia di 4 anni, uccise nell’attentato del 19 novembre. I loro corpi sono stati recuperati solo pochi giorni fa. La bambina è stata identificata dal padre, mentre quella della mamma è stata identificata tramite il test del DNA

On December 11, Ternopil held a farewell ceremony for 35-year-old Tetiana Popyk and her 4-year-old daughter Sofia, who were killed in a Russian shelling. The funeral service took place at the Church of Archangel Michael.

Tetiana and Sofia had been missing for nearly three weeks. Their bodies were discovered on December 8 during the demolition of a building on Stusa Street, 8, according to a relative of the victims, Lesia.

“On Monday, Roman (Tetiana’s husband) went to identify the bodies. They were found between the floors, near the stairwell,” Lesia said.

“She loved life –  a young family, children. The little girl was just four years old,” Lesia added. 

Tetiana’s surviving family includes her husband Roman and her 10-year-old son Maksym, who were also present in the house during the attack.
