Manifestanti in passamontagna interrompono il dibattito sui rifugiati del Kent, afferma un deputato

> McKenna told the House of Commons on Thursday that people in the public gallery were pelting councillors “with eggs and missiles”.
> “This is an attack on democracy itself,” he said. “This is an attack on free speech. This is an attack on my constituents.”
> He told MPs the council’s building was “badly vandalised afterwards” and Swale residents “cannot access council services” as the building was closed on Thursday.

That’s actually fairly worrying. The pictures of the damage show some serious intent. Masked vigilantes is part of the downward trend in the US, let’s make sure a message is sent that’s not acceptable here, these people should be tracked down and prosecuted.

I haven’t seen it reported on any of the news sites but there were people trapped in the lift and some men levered the door open. I can’t comment on the rest but that damage at least wasn’t just mindless vandalism.
