for those of you who weren’t born: this landed on RTE without any trailers or media coverage. At the ad break, I scrambled for my phone to call my brother and tell him and he was already watching it. It kept up this serious tone until you couldn’t help yourself but start laughing. It takes AGES for a viewer to realize its a “mockumentary”. it launched D O’Kane and several others. But it was the last spark of edge from RTE Entertainment

This looks so shockingly fresh and modern for 2000 RTÉ. Even the opening shot was very fresh looking with that vertical pan and colour grading

Great show. One you can go back to and it’s still very funny.
