Trade balance is pretty bad, cursory glance suggests worst in 10+ years, except 2020.
Not surprising really given all the media fear mongering about the budget. Multiple clients have held off making decisions until after the budget because of this.
We are in a recession, it’s just going to take another 4 months before they confirm it.
Absolutely no one has any money to do anything about it. So it’s going to be a brutal one.
What do you expect with this government? I’m not suprised and it’s always a loop with Labour. Countries a mess, Conservatives are not perfect but inflation was going down and we had the highest growth prediction out of the G7. No we have the worst inflation and lowest growth. You just couldn’t make it up
Perhaps we should rejoin the EU to boost growth

17% drop in vehicle manufacturing due to the JLR shutdown, which has now been resolved.
Will in all likelihood bounce straight back to growth next quarter and all the people insisting we’re in a recession will quietly move on to the next thing.
