its really not that simple, i have a friend from nicaragua and she met a belgian that was on holiday in her country. They fell in love and when she wanted to move with him here they got put in seperate rooms and questioned about the relationship, where did you meet? When did you first had sex and so on and so on
They’ll have to live together for several years and the Belgian end would have to show that they have a good enough salary to support a spouse. Having naturalised I suspect the people selling that are scammers.

I also don’t think the administration has time to deal with this. Maybe they will just put his/her name in a file and whenever something happens their name will be flagged.
